The Sommelier

Federica Muggenburg, Sommelier and Executive Chef, comes with an expansive portfolio of experience.  As an alumnus of the Sommelier Society of America, Federica is the only certified working sommelier in the Lehigh Valley.  She is available for custom pairings or wine suggestions with any ala carte items upon request.  The wine list that she has developed has been awarded the 2009 Wine Specator Award of Excellence.

Federica has not only developed an award winning wine list, but she has also gone out of her way to find a line of house wines that are both affordable and compliment almost any dish.  Offered in Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and White Zinfandel; Salmon Creek Cellars is an award winning line out of Napa Valley, California.  The winemaker, Bob Stashak, explains Salmon Creek wines as being harmonious in fruit flavors, creating an elegant wine that compliments, rather than overwhelm, fine food.  Winner of 2009 Growth Brands Award, 2008 Impact Hot Brand Award, as well as being ranked #5 of the Top 100 Restaurant Wines, Salmon Creek is the perfect award winning wine to compliment our award winning list!
